Writer & Choreographer

Paige is a multidisciplinary artist who is critically acclaimed as a performer, director, choreographer. and playwright. As an AEA Equity actress, Paige has performed on many stages throughout the country. She has collaborated with the Lincoln Center and has been commissioned by several companies including the National New Play Network, the Smithsonian, The Kennedy Center, La Jolla Playhouse, and the Glimmerglass Festival. Paige has been named a “classroom hero” by The Huffington Post, a “Citizen Artist Fellow” with the Kennedy Center, “40 under 40” by the Washington Post, and one of “Six Theatre Workers You Should Know” by American Theatre Magazine. She is elated to be the Associate Artistic Director of Everyman Theatre in her hometown of Baltimore, MD. Sound Design & Hip Hop Production

Nick “Tha 1DA”  has produced original compositions for: Long Way Down and Darius & Twig (The Kennedy Center); The 51st State (Arena Stage); The Hip-Hop Children’s Trilogy with playwright Psalmayene 24 (Imagination Stage); Fences (Ford’s Theater); Native Son and Les Deux Noir (Mosaic Theater); Word Becomes Flesh (Helen Hayes Award, Outstanding Production) at Theater Alliance; Snowy Day & Other Stories (Adventure Theater); and Havana Hop and All The Way Live with sibling Paige Hernandez (Discovery Theater). Director

Danielle is a multi-faceted theatre professional with extensive experience in performance, directing, and arts administration. Ms. Drakes is a two-time recipient of the Theatre Communications Group Leaders of Color award. Her local professional credits include Arena Stage, The Kennedy Center, and originating the role of Elizabeth Keckley in Ford’s Theatre’s (The Washington Post award winning) History on Foot. Ms. Drakes is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. She received her BA from Goucher College and MFA from The Catholic University of America.

Projection Design

Ruthmarie is a Puerto Rican multimedia and set designer. As a freelance artist, Ruthmarie she earned her BFA in Theatre at Florida International University and her MFA in Scenic Design with a concentration in in Multimedia Design at the University of Maryland, College Park. At UMD, she designed for In the Red and Brown Water and Spring Awakening: The Musical. Most recently Ruthmarie has designed for Sylvia (Next Stop Theatre), Last days of Judas Iscariot (Carroll College), Take Me Out (1st Stage), Step Afrika (the Atlas Theatre), Blue (Imagination Stage,) and Mariela en el Desierto (GALA Hispanic Theatre).

Set Designer & Original Music

Kris was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides outside of DC with his beautiful wife Paige and their awesome dog Basquiat. On upright bass, he has performed and toured internationally to every major jazz festival in the world with artists such as Kenny Garrett, Christian Scott, Nicholas Payton, Jeff Majors, and Pharaoh Sanders. Kristopher released his debut album, Cornerstore, in 2017. Kris has written many original compositions for B-Fly ENTERTAINMENT, most notably in Paige in Full, Havana Hop, and Life Doesn’t Frighten Me. He continues to perform in the Washington D.C. area while touring with the Joey Alexander trio. cornerstoremusic.com

B-FLY Production Manager

Lisa has a long history in stage management and theatre education, including work at Arena Stage, Theater J, Source Theatre, Metro Stage, and Olney Theatre, as well as stage management and choreography projects collaborating with the University of Maryland and Catholic University. She currently resides in New York City where she loves being a contemporary cake artist and running her own custom cake company #LisaVivoCustomCakes

Stage Manager

Liz (she/her) is happy to be back with SCT, where she last worked with BKBX Mime. Other credits include Emerald City Workshop and The Winter’s Tale at Seattle Rep. Liz sends appreciation to StoryBook Theater and Studio East for over a decade of love and shows, favorites including The Little Engine that Could and I Never Saw Another Butterfly. Liz holds a BA in Theatre from Notre Dame and an MFA in Drama and Theatre for the Young from Eastern Michigan University. Liz spends most of her time with the best job ever: homeschooling her 3 kids and celebrating Down syndrome.
