SCT accepts gifts made via donor-advised funds (DAFs). Donor-advised funds will apply towards your annual giving level. Donor-advised funds offer donors tax advantages at the time of the original DAF contribution. Because of this, gifts made to Seattle Children’s Theatre from a donor-advised fund are not eligible for donor benefits that have a fair market value associated with them. Please contact the organization holding your DAF for more information on making charitable contributions to SCT or if you have any questions about the tax deductibility of your gift.
SCT collaborates with a diverse range of community funders to make our work possible. Corporate sponsorship, workplace giving, matching gifts, and in-kind contributions are some of the ways your company can make a difference.
Please consider including SCT in your financial plans. By designating SCT as a beneficiary to receive gifts through IRAs, 401k plans, or life insurance policies, you are providing for SCT’s bright future. Making a planned gift can become a significant investment in SCT that doesn’t impact your current financial situation. You may also include SCT as a beneficiary in your will or trust to receive a gift of any size from your assets. Please contact your fund manager to receive a beneficiary recipient form and include the SCT Tax ID #51-0172421 and the amount or percentage you wish to contribute in your will. If you have any questions about making a planned gift, please contact Lynne Conrad Marvet, Director of Development, at 206.859.4037 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
