Class Description:

Combine musical theatre and imagination to create unique stories! In this class, students work with a choreographer and pianist to learn the fundamentals of musical theatre and create their own plays using popular songs. Students will learn story structure, choreography, and core music principles to develop a brand new show!

Class Description:

Grab your magnifying glass and follow those footprints! Embark on an adventure full of puzzles, patterns, riddles, and rhymes that will have your mind and imagination working overtime. On this adventure, students build characters and create a detailed, dramatic environment through collaborative storytelling. We’ll decipher mysterious messages from wacky characters and develop our own secret codes for communication. Expect the unexpected in this whimsically puzzling class!

Class Description:

Step through the Magic Doorway to explore a fantastical world full of clues left by colorful and mysterious characters. Each day students discover new ways to use voices, bodies, and imaginations to create and tell a story. At the end of each day, students collaborate to piece together their gathered clues and take another step toward solving the session’s mystery. This creative drama camp is a great starting point for students who are curious about theatre!

Class Description:

The teaching artist has a problem - a BIG problem - and they need your help! Beloved children’s books serve as the inspiration for our adventures in this class where students and their guardians use their imaginations to solve problems together. We'll create exciting new characters, explore dramatic environments, and develop literacy, collaboration, and social skills along the way. In this class, one grown-up per student is welcome to join the group each day.
