SCT Covid policy

As of June 13th, 2022

This policy will be regularly updated as conditions change in accordance with CDC guidelines, King County guidelines, and WA DOH guidelines.

SCT will now require all students 5 and up to either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit a weekly negative test. (“Fully vaccinated” is defined as at least 14 days passed since receiving either the second dose of FDA- or WHO-authorized double-dose vaccines or the sole dose of authorized single-dose vaccines.)

If your student is fully vaccinated, please email proof of vaccination to at least one week before the first day of class. Acceptable proof includes:

  • A photo of a vaccination card (including name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered).
  • Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record

If your student is not fully vaccinated, you must provide results of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours of their class.  Acceptable as Negative Test Documentation are printed or digital documents (including text or email message) from the test provider or laboratory. (The information should include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date of negative test result.) Negative Test Documentation must come from a testing agent (a laboratory, health care provider, or pharmacy). Self-administered rapid tests will not be accepted.

If your student is not yet fully vaccinated but will be before the start of your camp or class, you may provide a negative test each week until their vaccination schedule is complete. At that time, you may submit proof of vaccination to and no longer provide weekly negative tests.
