Step into the world of acting and discover the tools every performer needs! In this fast-paced, energetic class, students will explore the fundamentals of acting through theatre games, ensemble exercises, and creative storytelling. We’ll ask the essential question, “What’s my objective?” while experimenting with the tactics actors use to bring characters and scenes to life.
Each session of Actor’s Toolkit: Foundations offers new challenges and activities, so students can take this class multiple times as they continue to build confidence in their craft. This class is the perfect first step before progressing to Actor’s Toolkit: Character Lab and Actor’s Toolkit: Scene Study Showcase. Capacity for this class is 14 students.
