Step into the Character Lab and discover what makes a role truly come alive! Building on the foundations of Actor’s Toolkit, students will experiment with voice, movement, and imagination to develop layered, dynamic characters. Together, we’ll explore how a character thinks, feels, and responds to the world around them and how those choices bring powerful storytelling to the stage. Through ensemble exercises and creative play, young actors will expand their range and craft performances full of life and authenticity.
Each session of Actor’s Toolkit: Character Lab offers new challenges and activities, so students can take this class multiple times as they continue to build confidence in their craft. This class is the perfect step before progressing to Actor’s Toolkit: Scene Study Showcase. Capacity for this class is 14 students.
