Class Description:

Put your acting tools into action! Building on the foundations of Actor’s Toolkit and Character Lab, students will apply their skills to scripted scenes and one-act plays. Working collaboratively with our teaching artists, young actors will explore how objectives, relationships, and emotional connection bring stories to life onstage.

While this class is designed for students who have completed earlier levels, it’s also a great fit for those with prior acting experience who are ready to dive straight into scene work. Each session of Actor’s Toolkit: Scene Study Showcase offers new challenges and activities, so students can take this class multiple times as they continue to build confidence in their craft. The session culminates in a studio showcase for families and friends to celebrate the ensemble’s work and creative growth.
