SCT is located in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood, on the grounds of the bustling Seattle Center, just steps away from the Space Needle. It's an exciting time in our area, with a plethora of new buildings in the works and thriving communities.

SCT's box office will be open for one hour before each performance, and stays open until thirty minutes after each performance begins.
Seattle Children's Theatre is located at the west entrance of Seattle Center, just north of the Pacific Science Center and west of the Space Needle. The main lobby entrance to the theatre is on the north side of the building. SCT is easily reached by car or public transportation. Starting in September 2024, Seattle Children's Theatre will share a box office with Seattle Rep. Seattle Rep will oversee a box office that serves both organizations, and guests will be able to purchase or modify tickets to performances at either theater through a single phone call or email. Read our joint press release with Seattle Rep to learn more about this new initiative.
Parking

Parking is available at a number of nearby garages and surface lots. Limited street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking availability may be restricted during sporting events, concerts, or other happenings at Seattle Center, so it's always a good idea to allow for extra time.

• Climate Pledge Arena: Located a half-block away at 158 Lenny Wilkens Way, patrons parking in that garage should use the garage elevator to exit to the SE corner of the Arena Plaza.
On Climate Pledge Arena event days, SCT patrons have access to 15 first-come, first-serve, parking spots reserved for a discounted rate of $18.71/hour at the Climate Pledge Arena garage. Please tell a Climate Pledge Arena cashier that you are parking for your SCT performance to see if a spot is available. On days in which Climate Pledge Arena has no event, ample parking is available to SCT patrons at the $18.71/hour rate.

All parking this season will be managed and sold through a third-party website, ParkWhiz. The below instructions are intended to assist with guiding patrons through the purchase and cancellation path. However, since Seattle Children's Theatre is not directly selling the parking, our ability to support is limited, and any significant support for Account Information or Purchasing and Returning Parking Passes will need to go through ParkWhiz support:

Important Notes:
- All parking must be booked through a link provided by Seattle Children's Theatre in order to get the special rates. If you book without using the link, you will be subject to standard parking prices
- Parking must be booked 24 hours in advance of the start time of the event
- This discounted parking is only available 2 hours before the start time of the event, and 2 hours after the end time. If a patron parks outside of these times, they will be subject to the standard parking prices.
- Parking is at the 5th st garage only at 516 Harrison St.
- While we encourage making an account or downloading the app, it is not required to use this system
Public Transportation
To make your trip easier to Seattle Children's Theatre this spring, we’ve partnered with King County Metro to offer you free fare on Metro buses, Link light rail, or other transit services*, while supplies last.

Did you know that all youth 18 and under already ride free on all transit in Washington State? Order a free Youth ORCA card at FreeYouthTransitPass.com. Please allow up to two weeks to receive the Youth ORCA card in the mail.**
Transit is a great way to get to Seattle Children’s Theatre, while avoiding traffic hassles and reducing your carbon footprint. We are served by many bus routes, and you can plan your transit trip using King County Metro’s trip planner.
To use this offer:
This offer is good for 1200 points or $12 worth of transit, which covers a roundtrip on King County Metro buses or Link light rail. Limit one per customer.
- Download the Transit GO Ticket app.
- Click this link on your mobile phone. You will be automatically directed to the Rewards section of the Transit GO Ticket app.
- After purchasing your tickets, you will receive a pre-visit email from Seattle Children's Theatre. This email will include a link to access the promotion in the Transit GO Ticket app.
- When you’re ready for your trip and know which transit service(s) you’ll use, go to the “Redeem” section of the app, select a transit ticket, and tap “redeem.” Your transit ticket will now be available in the “Use” section of the Transit GO Ticket App, located in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
- When it’s time for your trip: Activate your ticket before boarding transit.

Monorail
Not only is the Monorail an iconic piece of Seattle history, it provides a fun, quick (it's only a two-minute ride!) and convenient ride from downtown Seattle's Westlake Center to the Seattle Center campus. For an easy connection, you can take the Link Lightrail to Westlake Center and transfer onto the Monorail.
