Each year, Seattle Children's Theatre offers many special events for you and your family to connect with our family of artists and technicians while supporting the theatre's Mainstage productions and education programs.

Backstage

Seattle Children's Theatre's annual fundraising gala, Backstage, brings together over 400 business, artistic, and community leaders committed to supporting the mission and programming of Seattle Children's Theatre. The event is held in spring each year and focuses on a theme connected to the current season's programming.

In the Wings

On one special Saturday per production, enjoy a theatre workshop led by a Seattle Children's Theatre educator and a behind-the-scenes look at the show with an actor and technician. These special meetings occur throughout the season and last from 11am to 12:15pm. Due to space limitations, reservations are requested.

Technical Rehearsal Dinner

Sit and enjoy a catered dinner with your family and hear from an SCT insider about the production elements of a current seasons’ production. After, guests get an opportunity to watch a technical rehearsal of the show and see, first hand, how all of the pieces come to life on stage.

Our rehearsal dinner for the 2009-2010 season has already taken place, check back later for information on the 2010-2011 event.
