Arriving at SCT
Upon arriving at SCT, patrons may park temporarily in the loading zone on 2nd Ave North while exiting your vehicle. Disabled parking spots are available for all on 2nd Ave in front of Sacred Heart Church and offer convenient access to all of the Seattle Center.
Patrons can enter through the main doors on the north side of the building across from Fisher Pavilion. Our main lobby doors are equipped with an automatic door opener push plate to allow for easy access inside. Once inside the building, patrons can access the Gift Shop, Concessions, Kids Corner, and Lobby Activities on the main level. Also on the main level are three accessible restrooms located between both theatre spaces. Three additional accessible restrooms are available for patrons on the second level.
There are two theatres at SCT – The Charlotte Martin Theatre and The Eve Alvord Theatre. Both of which are accessible to patrons with wheelchairs and limited mobility.
Charlotte MARTIN Theatre
The Charlotte Martin Theatre has six wheelchair seating locations and four wide seats, all with adjacent companion seats. They feature flexible seating options including seats with arms, seats without arms, and open areas for mobility devices. For specific seat location numbers please refer to our seat map.
- Main level wheelchair and wide seats are located in Row E in both House Left and House Right and are bordered by low blue walls. These sections are both accessible through either main level entrances thanks to a wide and level pathway that runs the width of the theatre.
- Upper level wheelchair and wide seats are located in Row O in both House Left and House Right. These sections are accessible through the upper lobby entrances via elevator or stairs. (Images coming soon.)
In addition to the seating options listed above, you may transfer from your mobility device to fixed seating in Row D on the main level and Row O on the upper level. Row D and Row O seats are accessible with no stairs, however, the armrests for those seats do not move. Rows A through F are accessible by limited stairs. There are handrails throughout the theatre.

Leaving SCT
After the performance is concluded, patrons are welcome to exit the theatres the way they entered. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy our lobby space after performances, but it is our practice to close our lobby 20 minutes after the conclusion of the show. If you need any assistance during this time, Staff Members and Volunteers will be available to patrons in the lobby and in the theatre.
