ASL & Audio Described Package
ASL – Our ASL interpreted performances feature skilled, professional interpreters. A special reserved seating area in the theatre allows Deaf and HoH patrons a great view of both the interpreters and the stage. This package includes 1 ticket to each of the ASL Interpreted Performances in the 19-20 Season.
In the Charlotte Martin Theatre the ASL Interpreter will be seated in front of the stage, house left. Please choose seats in row B (18-22), C (20-25), or D (21-26), left of the aisle on the left side of the auditorium.
In the Eve Alvord Theatre (Best Summer Ever) the ASL Interpreter will be seated in front of the stage, house right. Please choose seats in row B or C, seats 1-7, on the right side of the auditorium.
AD – Audio Description (AD) is a narration service that describes the visual aspects of theatre and seeks to make the visual an auditory experience, with the goal of helping visually impaired audience members share in the experience of live theatre more fully. At SCT, our Audio Described performances are narrated in real time, using concise, objective descriptions to depict new scenes, settings, costumes, body language, and sight gags. This package includes 1 ticket to each of the AD Performances in the 19-20 Season.
NOTE – Tickets can be redeemed for either adult or children’s tickets. You must select the same number of tickets for each performance. To add additional tickets to a performance, please call the Ticket Office at 206.441.3322.
