Class Description:

Step into the Character Lab and discover what makes a role truly come alive! Building on the foundations of Actor’s Toolkit, students will experiment with voice, movement, and imagination to develop layered, dynamic characters. Together, we’ll explore how a character thinks, feels, and responds to the world around them and how those choices bring powerful storytelling to the stage. Through ensemble exercises and creative play, young actors will expand their range and craft performances full of life and authenticity.

Each session of Actor’s Toolkit: Character Lab offers new challenges and activities, so students can take this class multiple times as they continue to build confidence in their craft. This class is the perfect step before progressing to Actor’s Toolkit: Scene Study Showcase.

Class Description:

Welcome to Performer’s Playhouse, where every story begins with imagination! In this creative, ensemble-based class, students will work together to invent characters, build worlds, and devise an original play all their own. From brainstorming ideas to bringing their story to life onstage, young artists will explore teamwork, storytelling, and the joy of performance.

Perfect for students who want to build on what they've learned in our Drama Quest classes, each session of Performer’s Playhouse is completely new because every ensemble creates a one-of-a-kind show!
