Performance Labs

Fully reimagined and ready to take your student to the next level, The Performance Lab Series is a two-week, audition based intensive. Led by a dynamic roster of Seattle’s top creative artists, The Performance Lab Series establishes the foundation for students to take the next step in their creative career and training.

Each Performance Lab is an audition, ensemble, and rehearsal-based process that culminates in a one-night final showcase where students present their storytelling and performance skills.  The series includes selections from five scripts across a variety of genres, including three plays and two musicals, expertly selected for late elementary to high school students.

Willy Wonka Jr. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory. As well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather.
