2019 Interns
As a leader in Theatre for Young Audiences and Theatre Education, Seattle Children’s Theatre’s (SCT) programming is known for its excellence. The SCT Internship Program began in 1999. In these last 20 years, more than 400 interns have passed through the program. Of the last 6 intern classes alone, nearly 70% have gone on to find careers in theatre/theatre education. This program fosters talent, creates a network of valuable professional connections, and provides job training, all of which contribute to the workforce development system. More than 30% of SCT’s current staff is an alumnus of the Internship Program. Twenty-seven promising young adults make up the 2019 Class of SCT Interns.

She loves being by the water which was one of the reasons she stayed close to home. She also has a cat, Louis, who was the second reason she stayed close to home. She is a fairly simple person in the sense that she is happy almost anywhere doing almost anything (as long as iced coffee is involved!) When she is not in the theater, she can be found near the water usually listening to music or going on late night adventures with friends. However, she is rarely outside of the theater but that’s okay because that is where she is happiest.
