Free Educator Preview

Teachers who have booked their class reservation may attend a Free Educator Preview performance to help prepare their students for attending the play.

When: 7:00pm on the Tuesday before the opening night of each new play. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance time.

Who: Each teacher may bring one (1) guest only. Reservations are not required; however, those accompanied with more than one guest will be required to wait to determine if seating is available.

 

Free Educator Preview Workshop

Join us before each Free Educator Preview during the season for a Dramatic Connection Professional Development workshop just for teachers. SCT Teaching Artists and special guests will model curriculum that explores the themes, subjects, and style of the play you are going to see with your students. Workshops include resource packets with written lesson plans and a show poster. Earn 3 clock hours for each workshop attended during the year.

Mr. Popper’s Penguins Workshop on November 7th at 5:30 PM. Please RSVP by November 3rd at 5 PM.
The Little Prince Workshop on January 16th at 5:30 PMPlease RSVP by January 12th at 5 PM.
Citizen 13559: The Journal of Ben Uchida Workshop on February 6th at 5:30 PM. Please RSVP by February 2nd at 5 PM.
Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed Workshop on March 20th at 5:30 PM. Please RSVP by March 16th at 5 PM.
The Lamp is the Moon Workshop on April 10th at 5:30 PM. Please RSVP by April 6th at 5 PM.
