Residencies

Every year, approximately 8-10 schools within the Puget Sound region and 2 rural-area schools with deaf and hard-of-hearing programs are selected for Deaf Youth Drama Program residencies, taught by a professional Deaf teaching artist.

The students learn dramatic games, script development, and set construction - all laying the ground work for creating a short production.

This production will be performed at the participating schools and as a part of the Deaf Kids Drama Festival at Seattle Children's Theatre.

Sessions:

13 weeks
Twice per week
During the school day
