The Deaf Youth Drama Program is a leader in facilitating the integration of deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing children through arts education programming.
Theatre companies around the nation may host DYDP in their communities to learn how to implement a Deaf arts curriculum into their theatre education programs. Representatives from SCT's Deaf Youth Drama Program conduct workshops at interested theatres and within those Deaf and Sign Language communities.
Topics include: Strategic recruitment Training Public relations Day-to-day operations
Follow-up visits and consultations are encouraged to ensure the successful implementation of the plan.
