Seattle Children's Theatre is located in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood on the grounds of Seattle Center, just steps away from the Space Needle.
Our Mainstage season runs September through June.
Public performances are every Friday-Sunday in the afternoon and evenings, with several Thursday evenings as well. lobby is open 1 hour before show time, and the theatres open 30 minutes prior to show time for subscribers and 15 minutes prior to show time for single ticket buyers.
School group matinees are Tuesday-Friday in the mornings and afternoons. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to show time.
Drama School Summer Season, our student performance program, runs July and August.

Seattle Children's Theatre is located at the west entrance of Seattle Center, just north of Pacific Science Center and west of the Space Needle. The main lobby entrance to the theatre is on the north side of the building. SCT is easily reached by car or public transportation.
Parking
Parking is available at a number of nearby garages and surface lots. There is limited street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking availability may be restricted during Sonics Games, concerts, or other large events at Seattle Center, so you may want to allow extra time.

- 1st Avenue North Garage: between John Street and Thomas Street (closest to SCT)
- 5th Ave Lot: 5th Avenue between Harrison and Mercer
- Pacific Science Center's Claypool Memorial Garage: Second Avenue N & John Street

Restaurants
There are a number of family-friendly restaurants for your pre- or post-theatre dining experience near Seattle Children's Theatre. In addition, we offer a selection of juices, cookies, and healthy snacks at our lobby concession stands. The concession stands are open one hour prior to each performance as well as during intermission.
Seattle Center House is located just steps away from Seattle Children's Theatre and features over 20 different food vendors.
The lower Queen Anne neighborhood boasts dozens of dining choices from national fast food chains to local eateries.

The Monorail is a favorite part of the Seattle skyline and provides a fun, quick and convenient link from downtown Seattle to the Seattle Center campus. Originally built as part of the 1962 World’s Fair, the Seattle Center Monorail provides easy access to some of Seattle’s most popular and family-friendly destinations including SCT, Pacific Science Center, The Children’s Museum, and Experience Music Project.

Ticketing Policies
Processing
Subscriptions and Flex Passes are processed by the Ticket Office. You should see a charge to your credit card within about a week of your purchase. All subscription tickets and Flex Pass orders are mailed by September 8th. If you would like to know your subscriber dates before then, you may check with the Ticket Office any time after your order has been processed.
Single tickets are charged at the time of purchase. All sales are final. If you indicate that you would like the tickets mailed, we will mail them within 1 day of the purchase date. A processing fee of $4 per ticket will be added to all single ticket web orders.
Exchanging
Seattle Children's Theatre offers a free ticket exchange program for subscribers. Single ticket buyers may exchange for a fee of $4 per ticket. For the details, read our exchange policy.
Donating Your Tickets
If you cannot attend your performance and do not wish to exchange, your tickets may be donated for tax credit. Simply return your tickets in person or by mail to the SCT Ticket Office before the scheduled performance.
Missed Shows
We often hear from patrons who, because of a last minute emergency or particularly busy calendar, could not attend their scheduled performance. We offer two options to accommodate patrons who miss their show:
1) Standby Tickets
Tickets may be available for another performance of the play you missed for a service fee of $5 per ticket. Please call the Ticket Office for an explanation of how standby works. Standby tickets cannot be reserved in advance. The Ticket Office will try to guide you to performances that are not sold out, but we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available. The standby list will be taken ½ hour before performance time.
2) Half-Price Tickets
You may purchase half-price tickets to another performance of the play you missed. Tickets should be ordered in advance from the ticket office.
