School Shows - FAQ
What is the difference between School Shows and Group Sales?
School shows are intended for school and home-school groups only, and are scheduled on weekdays during school hours. Group Sales refers to all other groups of ten or more who receive a discount to public shows, which are scheduled on weekends.
How long are your performances?
Most of our plays are between 90 minutes and two hours long. For specific show information, check out what's On Stage.
How much do School Show tickets cost?
$12 each for teachers, chaperones, and students.
When do I pay for my School Show tickets?
After you make reservations, you will receive an invoice in the mail. Payment is due four weeks prior to the performance date you have reserved.
I home-school my child, can we come to a School Show?
Yes, please visit the homeschool page located under the Educator tab for more information.
When are the educator previews? Do I need reservations for them?
Educator Previews are at 7:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the opening night of the show. View a list of this year's Educator Preview dates. You do not need reservations for the Educator Previews, but we ask that you bring only one guest. Before each Educator Preview are Teacher Trainings, for which you do need reservations. The trainings are held from 5:30 to 6:30 pm by professional teaching artists who model a curriculum that explores the themes and style of that night's play through interactive drama activities that you can use in your classroom.
